Sorry it is such a long wait. Hope you are not all still cooped up in your domicile.
Thanks, Miles. We're Code Yellow as of this weekend, which means that small gatherings between two households will be allowed. Some restaurants will allow a few customers to dine inside. But we're being careful and don't really intend to mix with others until everyone's had their second shot. So another three or four months of cooped-upness it is...
I hope you can go to outside places and wear masks, just to get out and move a bit! Kids, no matter how old they are, still need to get their wiggles out so they can settle down.
Oh, great. We're opening up and CoVID-19 DELTA is spreading through England. C'mon everybody! Disneyland is opening to non-state residents tomorrow! Summer tourists will be at the beaches and in the airports. Make sure you bring your Black Market counterfeit vaccine card!
I'm not getting rid of my masks. In fact, I just got a 64 pack of carbon filters for the washable outsides. I don't care if anybody mocks me or takes digs at mask wearers. What's that line from The Great Race?
I am not jumping out of any windows, though. I've seen this film enough times to know better.
Sounds like a good plan. I got vaccinated some time ago, but I'm going to keep using my masks. I'm glad for the high % of protection vaccination offers, but it's not a 100%, extra so with the new variants going around. I'm quite nervous with enough morons choosing to not, rather than being unable, to get vaccinated, that one of these will mutate to be enough less protected by our vaccines and cause a rather scary continuance of this pandemic.
Haven't posted here for a while because it was a slow, positive progression. Last week, as the state hovered at 70% vaccinated, the Gov said crisis over, masks can come off, go to a packed restaurant, whatever. It was a shock to see how fast it changed, and the grocery stores etc now 80 to 90% unmasked. I'm still wearing mine, and generally still distancing. I expect more spikes of nasty variants in the next 2 weeks. I hope I'm wrong.
I sit and think of everything, then I wonder where I've been.
I'm still wearing mine. Those variants worry me. Too many people didnt wear them even at worse timws when in roo close proximity to others not 9d their family outdoors or otherwise. I don't care I want my distance aand safety
Introvertigo: No, thanks, Mare--I don't smoke.

Mare: I have always said things other people only thought...I got laughter and me, too! as reward. Sometimes, though, I felt regret about what I had brought to the surface. Is that my lot in life-to be an instigator?
