Are we still talking about marmite? Re: sexual orientation, gender fluidity, etc. both my daughters are gay. My eldest (17 yrs old) has been in a relationship for over a year. One of my best friend's teenage girls is bi; her younger sister's asexual. At my daughter's high school graduation ball, several boys wore dresses; she also has two close gay male friends. And no one makes fun of them at school or in public areas when they see these young same-sex couples holding hands or showing signs of affection. As far as Gen Z is concerned, it's a non-issue when dating or looking for a soulmate -- just another criterion to consider. Pretty much the same attitude re: race, creed... But we live in a metropolitan area. As a visible minority, my oldest son had some problems when he attended school in a small city. In any case, I'm happy to see them thrive in a place where they can be themselves without being judged. It took long enough for the rest of the world to catch up with me, lol! How nice to be able to grow up somewhere with less bullying for those issues/identities. That was not the case for me although I lived in a town that felt fairly "safe" relative to other parts of the country. Nonetheless there was no such thing as same gender couples at prom certainly not for same gender male pairings. Everyone took a beard. Until me. I decided that was bullshit I wanted to have fun for myself as well as being more activist minded at the time do something that hopefully would make it more comfortable via precedent for others so I took a another male friend to prom. Never was much for the whole prom thing but I didn't really want to miss out on the senior prom that everyone else was going to. Thankfully no one gave me trouble a few people gave me a compliments students and staff. I hope it's no longer a big deal at the school. A teacher I'm in touch with still said he tells his students about various things with me and how things work about 20 years ago when all that happened.. Marmite tastes like shit even after wishes. =P I wish for something that tastes better than more might to spread on my toast or similar bread product.

Granted, just keep spreading the love bluey ❤️
I'm trisexual, I'll try anything once. 😃 Great chat, even if it started off with me being grumpy and a bit pissed.
I wish for more stimulating conversations.

I would say that you being their parent has had a lot to do with your kids' freedom to be themselves, Terra Incognita. Finntrovertigo...Terra did make a wish...they granted it to themselves. <3 I wish there was NO FREAKING TIME CHANGE ESPECIALLY THE SPRING ONE. THIS ONE IS RIDICULOUS, TOO, THOUGH. We should monitor how much road rage and domestic violence there is for two weeks following time changes. Time changes probably mess up the diets of people who have to monitor the times they eat and the amounts they eat. Ostie d'crosse de saint ciboire de tabernakkkkkkkkk!

Granted--unfortunately, time itself has been abolished, and just when you received a gold watch for all of your years of service to the BPPS.
I wish spring would arrive early.

Granted--you will only live for two days after retirement, easily within your financial means.
I wish I didn't have to shovel snow.

I wish my living room light hadn't just burned out.

Granted--you have a clean bill of health. That won't stop gravity, however, as your car plunges off the cliff while on the way home from the doctor's office.
I wish my allergies weren't bothering me.
