I used to live hand to mouth. Do you know what changed my life?

Barking spiders removal? Sounds ruff. Any spiders from Mars?

Barking Spiders were what an older gentleman called farts. It is my favorite fart phrase along with Pfffffffft.

That's a new one for me.
I saw Petunias today. They were pretty.

That's not insignificant, bluedemon25-it is stinky Marigold season, along with dreaded Chrysanthemums. Masks will come in handy for me, now. The only Chrysanthemums that didn't bother me when my mom brought huge bunches of them into the house to put on the dining room table were the Spider Mums. The rest (and the Marigolds) made me gag. They were so interesting! Their leaves like little tubes at first, unfurling and reaching out for the sunshine!

My dad used to stake up the Chrysanthemums and used twine to give them some stability...they were taller than he was once he got them organized. Before that, they were in the way when he wanted to mow. My mom loved them. She loved her garden.
How can flowers and plants ever be insignificant? Out of season Petunias are a miracle, Bluey!
Hey, is it lovely Fall foliage time for you in your area?

I didn't know chrysanthemums could get that tall. That's interesting about the leaves. I was at an eyeglasses place and saw in the planters outside petunias some with leaf types I don't know what they are maybe they're not petunias but some were. it was a mixed flower vase(really big actually). It is starting to be fall foliage season here.

"Dad, are those chrysanthemums?"
"Yes"
"And how do you spell that?"
"Oh, wait a minute. They're roses."

Barking Spiders were what an older gentleman called farts. It is my favorite fart phrase along with Pfffffffft. In French, when a room becomes strangely and suddenly odoriferous, we say "it certainly doesn't smell like flowers in here," while looking 'round for the guilty party to give 'em the... stink eye.
