“Do not get lost in a sea of despair. Be hopeful be optimistic. Our struggle is not the struggle of a day a week a month or a year it is the struggle of a lifetime. Never ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble.” ~ John Lewis

“You must be able & prepared to give until you cannot give any more. We must use our time & our space on this little planet that we call Earth to make a lasting contribution, to leave it a little better than we found it,and now that need is greater than ever” John Lewis

" No marigolds in the promised land There's a hole in the ground where they used to grow." That is a good thing. Marigolds stink and make me choke. We can plant some nice roses there.

I find them unpleasant smelling, but so do insects and garden pests. Some people plant rows of them as a natural means to control the bugs. But never for the smell

Because if you don't have someone to run out of town once in a while, how are you going to know you yourself belong there?

But never for the smell Those folks must not be as averse to their smell as me, I think. I prefer to use soapy water (Dawn since it is animal friendly) in a spray bottle on the viscious pests that attack my own garden. Who am I kidding-I haven't had a garden since 2011. More's the pity. I was always open to using horticultural oils, but never had to get into fighting this war on a large scale.

Because if you don't have someone to run out of town once in a while, how are you going to know you yourself belong there? Richard Bachman "Mr. Bachman" asks many interesting questions about what is real, what is perceived, and what knucklehaids think in this world. The dude(s) can tell stories that scare the crap out of me. He has a wickedly clever sense of humor, too.

Because if you don't have someone to run out of town once in a while, how are you going to know you yourself belong there? Richard Bachman My wife and I were run out of town once. It was true, we didn't belong there. I shed no tears when the whole neighborhood burned to the ground, a charter flaw I suppose.
