I'm recording it. 'Lock him up' I guess. Worked last time. Why change a winning formula?

I predict that tonight is good time to leave the TV off. Agreed, but how can I not watch Part 3 of Political Insanity 2020 US Version?

A change of tone and a bit of a wash out.

I watched for an hour and ten minutes, and put myself on a timeout to get my mail. Luckily for me, the mail was still in the truck, and two more USPS vehicles drove up and divvied up the mail in the first. I waited almost 40 minutes in the nice cool air and figured it was better to chance mosquito bites and enjoy the outdoors than to risk popping my gourd watching the debate.
While I watched, there was no automatic shushing of debaters by muting and I thought Trump could have used a shush or two.
Things I yelled at Trump:
What about the White House full of your family members a la Trump Nepotism, huh? Are you serious! Liar! Liar, liar, liar! He is such an idiot.
Yeah, I needed to get away from the TV and get some fresh air. That was a good choice.

I watched a football game and dipped my toes in during commercials.
Good and unusual question about environmental poverty and disease, re those who are forced to live near oil refineries, chemical plants, down river from coal mines etc. The lying king's only response was "They're all making a lot of money." These are people whose children get asthma and cancer, also the pollution exposure makes it more likely to get a severe case of covid (with reduced lung function, etc.) Rump's help for these communities during the pandemic, was to undo the existing lax regulations so more poisons can be dumped in the dirt and water.

I think some people are too embarassed to endorse Trump publicly. But will vote for him privately.

I think some people are too embarassed to endorse Trump publicly. But will vote for him privately. I have family members (siblings, parent) and a couple that I consider close friends that voted for him in 2016 that were pretty open about voting for the Republican ticket. They had differing reasons, though. Some were Pro Life & pro military salary increases. Others have traditionally been financially motivated. I haven't seen or heard anything about their votes this time around. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that the Pro-Life group votes Republican. I don't talk politics with my sibs or that friend except the sister that I know believes that we really need to take care of our planet and we should have the right to decide for ourselves what happens to our bodies. My kids are a different story. They are anti bully like me. We don't agree on everything, but we are united against Trump. From what I have observed, there isn't one ism that works for everybody primarily due to human nature. Or should I say Evolution? (Only one sibling would laugh.)

We have Boris and it's all unraveling. But if there was an election tomorrow he would probably get in again. It's like self harming.

I think some people are too embarassed to endorse Trump publicly. But will vote for him privately. You are right, in fact some polls actually add points to his totals in anticipation of this. There are also republicans that will vote for Biden and not tell their husbands. Women in general don't dig the insults, babies in cages and complete lack of concern for their lives and health.

The pain that brings relief, for some reason. More of the same, even though it hurts, isn't as scary as the unknown. At least you know what to expect. I figure my staying in a very bad marriage was like that. I'd never lived on my own, didn't think I could take care of myself and two kids. What's that saying...Better the devil you know?

Yes, I am in a better place. Thank you, donavan. Of course you can call me girl. I am a girl. You can also call me gender non-specific words like friend or interpreter.

Today Obama gave a speech for Biden in Florida. He had a few observations about the individual who followed him in the office. Including . . .
BARACK OBAMA: Just yesterday he said that Putin of Russia, Xi of China, and Kim Jong-Un want him to win. We know! We know because you have been giving them whatever they want for the last four years. Of course they want you to win. That's not a good thing. You shouldn't brag about the fact that some of our greatest adversaries think they'd be better off with you in office. Of course they do. What does that say about you? I mean, think about that. Why are you bragging about that? Come on!

Thank you Former President Obama for saying what I have been thinking about this debacle of a Presidency. I figure I am a Conservative Democrat. I think we should help the citizens that are starving and homeless in our country because they are out there. Instead of passing out money to everybody, start a Works Project-use the funding to pay them to do the forest clearing in the U.S. Give them dignity and get stuff done that benefits everyone from the homeowners to the Forestry, Fire and Police who take their lives in their hands every time wilderness fires start be they caused by lightening bolts or Electric companies' ageing equipment. Put them on Green projects that will bring about better land management and generate power that doesn't involve burning coal or oil.
I am so tired of this not being considered a viable option. I kinda think that going back to times when this kind of thinking was acceptable would help us reduce global warming, along with moving along with technology that will help cope with the climate change that is influencing our living conditions. If temperatures keep going up, will we just keep turning up the Air-Conditioning and talking about how different it is now? If that's the case, it isn't different at all. It is what got us here.

When the votes are counted and the dust settles, Biden will defeat the lying king. Disappointing that so many voted for racism, cruelty and willful ignorance but you've got to go with the numbers. The dust may take quite a while to settle, unfortunately. There will be no coming together anytime soon, we are 2 countries.
