Sports and Christmas stuff were the only things on TV, yesterday. You got lucky!
I dunno. Sometimes I want answers to everything. I have been asking people questions since I was a kid and sometimes the people just looked at me incredulously. I didn't get many answers, but I thought the questions were valid.
I though Boxing Day was the day you took your old toys and books and boxed them up to give to the kids who didn't get any for Crimbo. Or is that mythology?
It was a pretty good day. It was an unusual day with surprising and unexpected results. I was calm and serene. I even got some paperwork done. I felt exhausted and good about myself at the (early) end of my day.

I did. It was OK. I like sport and lots of that on the TV. I fell to sleep watching a Harry Potter film. They are well over long. How was your day? And nobody knows why it's called Boxing day. Which I quite like. We don't need answers to everything. Do we? 😉 I thought it was called Boxing Day as you get drunk on punch.

I feel trapped by mutual affection And I don't know how to use freedom I spend hours looking sideways To the time when I was sixteen

Just cued up The Tipping Point (streaming).
I'm not exactly a Tears For Fears superfan, but the loooong wait on this has had me looking forward to it actually being released. In the least, there is zero chance of it being horrible.

Still, I really did like that Sneaker Pimps recent release!

Guess I'm listening to a lot of Painted Palms. I think I found them...Spotify...I don't have that, but when I was looking for album images to post here, I saw some Spotify info as credits underneath the images.

Because I put it on 2-3 times on Amazon Music, it now plays a couple tracks regularly when I ask for one of my auto-mixes and they're pleasant to hear. they do seem to be "message" songs though, so I think they'll take an active listening session to really connect.

Nonsuch Ned...My daughter is a Dr. Who fan...I found Dr. Who & The Daleks on TCM (1965, Peter Cushing!!!) and was sending her quick vids done on my cell phone. I sent her a few and then she texted back "I am at Babies OPENING DAY!" Translation: I am at Angels Opening Day! A couple of her favorites from a little back in the day: Timmy Salmon and Garrett Anderson both threw out side by side first pitches. She was happy and excited and really enjoying her baseball on Opening Day A mother can sense these things. Plus, it is obvious she knows and loves her baseball team.

Yeah, once you do spend time listening to music and reading along in the lyrics repeated listenings seem to gel the conceptual parts. I like Raoul & The Kings Of Spain for that reason. Now playing for me... Young The Giant's self titled first album - Recommend. I am so glad my daughter has good musical taste.
The whole album is good.
These aren't even the popular cuts.
The ten year anniversary album is already several years old.
