"Koeman had stated that he would consider a move to a bigger club and hoped Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink “puts a good word in” for him at the English champions.
However, Koeman insisted his words had been misinterpreted.
“That’s the problem when you do an interview in Dutch. It’s all bulls***. You can’t win when you talk to them,” he said."

Why LVG, don? you're all for stability and longevity, and he's already said that he's retiring after next season.... At the moment United are pretty poor, and seem directionless. If the rebuild is only going to have to start again next year, why not start now? Boring football is not the way.

It wasn't boring on Friday in the Cup and last night against Stoke was fantastic attacking football. Do you watch United on a regular basis? Things take time. You don't start a new job and be up with the pace right away. LVG has got a contract, let him complete it. Let things mature instead of demanding someone new because it's taking time to get things right. All we are saying is give LVG a chance.

Lets hope that two swallows do a summer make then... No you don't start a new job and be on it, but time is the one thing that LVG has said he hasn't got, and his style of football seems not to fit: will he ever give players a chance to express themselves, or will they stay tied down in the possession obsession? You'll probably wave a quote from Suralex along the lines of "ye dinnae win fitba' matches withoot the ball, see you Jimmy etc", but at least he advocated keeping it whilst going forward, not keeping it at all costs be it sideways, backwards or up yer own fundament. Do I watch United? When I can, and they've been boring as fuck 90% of this season.

Try and watch a repeat of last nights game against Stoke if you can. Attacking, flowing, great goals and very pleasing on the eye. Sunday away against an in form Chelsea will be a good test of where we are up to. It will be a bit more of a conservative approach, but I'm quietly confident. You can catch that on MOTD2 if you haven't made a deal with the devil (SKY SPORTS TV) yet.

Probably United's best performance this season. Retreated too much in the last 20 mins much to LVG's dismay. He wanted them to be more controlled and move the ball forward. Even vintage United's best form of defence was attack. But overall a really good performance although disappointing to concede so late. Improvement still needed but everything is going in the right direction. My only criticism apart from dropping off too much near the end was the taking off Fellaini. He was running things in the middle and very useful in defence. His replacement, Schneiderlin, did neither. Memphis didn't contribute either. But I think LVG has probably found his best eleven and on today's performance things look very promising.

Currently watching our version of footy, the Super Bowl. Also, listening to the Sugarplastic and drinking vodka. I love multitasking.

Currently watching our version of footy, the Super Bowl. Also, listening to the Sugarplastic and drinking vodka. I love multitasking. I watched the first 45 mins and quite enjoyed it. Would have watched more but was falling to sleep. Overslept this morning so caught all the fuss about the half time entertainment. To be honest the Jacko type dancing routine looked pretty turgid to me. I'm glad Denver won, although I'm not quite sure why. Maybe because of all the fuss about the other side's quarterback. Do I sound like I know what I'm talking about?

I caught the first 15 mins (all United, sounded good) and the last 25 minutes or so on the radio: sounded like all Chelsea from then on. I am encouraged a little, don, though only 1 point means it's going to be very difficult to make the Champions' League now.... You're wrong about Depay not contributing: he gave the ball away which led to the Chelsea attack in which they scored the goal. Carrick was seen to give him a good bollocking after!

You are right - that's why its going to take Ranieri more than a year to get Leicester going, and Pochitino much more than the two years he's had at spurs

Joking aside its Arsen Wenger who has most to lose this season. he has been at Arsenal a long time but unlike Ferguson hasn't had years of success. The last ten years he has trod water and won little.
IF Leicester or Spurs were to win the title with effectively new management and with the foxes a team that only cost about £22m - what does that say about Wenger?
Quite surprised by some of the stats on MOTD last night about Oxlade-Chamberlyne. He is now in his 5th season at Arsenal, after leaving saints. In 5 seasons he has only played 99 games. About 48 of those he was a sub and in those 5 seasons has only played the full 90 minutes of a game on 9 occasions.
is the player poor or has Arsenal failed him?

There is a bit of a trend forming with these want away Southampton players. Maybe Le Tiss knew a thing or two. Mainly, know your limitations. But I suppose by the time the tale of the Emperor's new kit has unravelled, the money is in the bank.
