By any chance did you do any painting or other artistic endeavor related to it? I'm finishing a multi-media piece featuring an eclipse. I found the original painting I mentioned. No slide located so I will scan it when the the next group of paintings are finished. cool I look forward to seeing it.

I saw the aurora for the first time in my life. I'm very excited I always wanted to see it. I photographed it from 10:30 to 4:00 a.m. at a darker site in the corner of the state at a park. Still wasn't super visible to the eye but I could see it a bit which was exciting enough and it showed up a bit better on camera. Did anyone else see it? I understand it was visible as far south as Puerto Rico and then again in the southern hemisphere.

Yeah the forecast is good for activity but unfortunately it looks like it's going to be too cloudy here tonight I'm probably going to still try anyway if I can get out just in case. I wish I knew easy way to get some images I could upload to share some of what I took last night I'll see if I can figure that out some point.

I'm in the garden now. Still too light at the moment. A little cloudy too. But when it goes dark hopefully the stars will shine clear and the show will commence. 10:30 - 02:30. It's now 21:40 here.

streamable.com/3shq8dstreamable.com/p1vdmjThis is a test the link only lasts for 2 days but I'm not sure where else to host videos happy to hear suggestions. I was able to see the green in the camera but it looked more like an off-white to the naked eye and the motion wasn't as obvious except for a short period where was really amazing and rolling from The horizon to the zenith.

Sorry to hear that I don't think I'm going to have good luck because of the clouds too when I get a shot the activity does not seem to be high according to the KP values I'm seeing so far. I'm hoping for the unexpected luck of a break in the clouds combined with an increase in activity later at night. We'll see.
