There's part of me that thinks I may have had it and didn't know. The problem is that the "Post-covid symptoms" are my usual symptoms, only worse. Extreme fatigue, slightly out-of-breath (but am also very out-of-shape right now). So, I've decided to ask to get the anti-body test. Not sure when I can get it though. I was just going to spend Xmas afternoon with my parents (and my cousin is going to be with his mom- but my mom does not want to spend time with my cousin and his "wife?" because they both spend a lot of time in hospitals. But I'm starting to wonder if I should skip it this time too.

Be safe, not dead. I think I had it last January. I thought about being tested for the what...antigen...test? Then, I heard on some random newscast (hopefully PBS not local news) that the antigen is detectable for a limited time. It is about a year since I was probably exposed. If you want to be tested, check your local Health Department website, be it city/county/state, because they may be a likely candidate for appointments or at least direct you to a list of places you can set the test up. |

Given that covid has hit my stepsister, I am guessing a Christmas gettogether is not going to happen. I guess I'll just have to miss out on my five nieces and nephews, all four years or younger, screaming at the top of their lungs and banging on the piano, kind of like a Jerry Lee Lewis show sans incest. I know, for a present why don't you give them a drum set to add to the cacophony , or maybe a trumpet. You'd be their favorite uncle. Or maybe that antique toy "Hit Stix!" I gifted that to my kids under the nom de identité secrète "Santa"...Open this! I said as I hurried back to the turntable to put on some appropriate music to hit the six to. |
