Oi, please refrain from licking them in front of the new company. Old company is already used to seeing it.

MmmmYELLO! I was just thinking you folks and thought I’d holler HOWDY! I hope things are simply fabbalus for everybody. Just wanted y’all to know I still think aboutcha (in case you wanted to alert the media). And just as the pic in the first post on this page indicates, you guys are the cat’s ass. Here you are, Sammy! Boy Howdy, back atcha! Just so's you know, I was pretty sick and tired of that cat's ass and am thrilled it has gone as the first thing I saw at the temporary top of the page in your thread. I always GIF'd it in my mind to have a quivering tail warning me that spray was about to be emitted from that butt. Cringe! I think of y'all, too! I especially thought of you when I posted a boatload of empty five gallon water bottles for the denizens of the Back Porch to utilize instead of emitting their own spray off the Back Porch-sort of something to aim at, you understand. Here's wishing you and yours good times within reason of health concerns and lots of love and hugs among y'all. Love you, Sammy!

Love ya back, Mare. Sorry for so late replying. All of a sudden, I got busier’n a paira jumper cables at a West Virginia wedding!
Hired for the drum tracks on a [gulp] metal album project, another project for a shredder guitar guy whose main gig is tuba in the Louisville Symphony(!), whose bucket list is to put out 50 CD’s before his purchase of the farm. (Ya can’t make this stuff up!) Bass and backup sing-gink on an EP project of what I’d call, “modern yacht rock”. (I actually quite like that stuff. My age, I guess.) All the above involves lots and lots and LOTS of listening to metric tons of demo files, followed by charting song maps on paper, screwing them up, charting them again…along with the necessity because of some of this metal stuff to practice HARD to remind my left foot that yes, it can also be used on a second bass drum pedal instead of planted like an anvil on the hihat. Lots of potholes in THAT neural pathway.
And lastly, gigs falling out of the sky, seemingly. Albeit mostly country stuff, or what I refer to as, “all yer inbred favorites”. A couple of others were with a regionally famous oldies outfit, this last one of which I experienced probably the loudest noise with which I was ever physically assaulted. Gig was in front of the grandstand of a drag strip. Stage was about 10 feet away from said strip, about 200 yards from the starting line, on the other side of a 3-foot tall concrete partition. During setup, the first time two of those 35-foot long dragsters blasted past the stage with these wide open engines that were big enough to be Japanese apartments, I swear to you, my head was squashed into a 2D portrait. And now, it’s all skidded to a screeching halt by an unexpected visit from my arch enemy. Mr. Gout.🤬
Anyway, how are all you fine folks?

"All of a sudden, I got busier’n a paira jumper cables at a West Virginia wedding!" Are those cables for the heart stoppages or the dead batteries in the dirt lot?
"Hired for the drum tracks on a [gulp] metal album project, another project for a shredder guitar guy whose main gig is tuba in the Louisville Symphony(!), whose bucket list is to put out 50 CD’s before his purchase of the farm. (Ya can’t make this stuff up!)" No, you freaking can't...truth is much stranger than fiction!
"Bass and backup sing-gink on an EP project of what I’d call, “modern yacht rock”. (I actually quite like that stuff. My age, I guess.)" WTF is modern yacht rock? Is that what used to be muzak?
"All the above involves lots and lots and LOTS of listening to metric tons of demo files, followed by charting song maps on paper, screwing them up, charting them again…along with the necessity because of some of this metal stuff to practice HARD to remind my left foot that yes, it can also be used on a second bass drum pedal instead of planted like an anvil on the hihat. Lots of potholes in THAT neural pathway." You can do it! I suggest a reduction in corn syrup/simple carbs and caffeine. Left nostril breathing-plug the right one and breathe through the left one for three minutes-it sounds weird but it is like a reset button for your mind. Go figure.
"And lastly, gigs falling out of the sky, seemingly. GREAT!
"Albeit mostly country stuff, or what I refer to as, 'all yer inbred favorites'." My Daddy called that "Shit Kickin' Music" albeit, it is more like lizard marble kickin' music these days. AKA I dunno-it isn't Classic Rock, no way is it Classic Country and seems to be a hybrid of Country Rock and Bitchen Guitar Solos. IMHO."A couple of others were with a regionally famous oldies outfit, this last one of which I experienced probably the loudest noise with which I was ever physically assaulted. Gig was in front of the grandstand of a drag strip. Stage was about 10 feet away from said strip, about 200 yards from the starting line, on the other side of a 3-foot tall concrete partition. Fuck! I have been to those things but luckily not so close to the concrete retaining berms. That shit is LOUD! I wish I would'a know'd, I would'a warned ya! (My ex was smart enough to tell me to bring earplugs, but not so smart that he isn't wearing a hearing aid now.) Neat that you got the gig, though!
And now, it’s all skidded to a screeching halt by an unexpected visit from my arch enemy. Mr. Gout.🤬 Eww...nasty, painful, crippling stuff!!! What'd you eat? Beer or broccoli? That, I don't know a solution for, sorry to hear it!Anyway, how are all you fine folks? Right now, I'm happy and well. The younger ones around here are doing ok, but the ones of us with more miles on us are starting to have trans slippage and chugging.

I did that in a weird way, Sammy/ tubwompus - but some of the technical niceties of copy and program elude me. So good to hear from you! I wish you well and happy! <3
