Cool, I didn't know the Pearlfishers had a new one out. I really love the new album.

I got a 3 cd set of unearthed early Fleetwood Mac live material. Peter Green and Danny Kirwan still amaze me.
Also a comp of British Baroque Pop 1976-1972 "Come Join My Orchestra." One of the better collections in recent years.

I never mentioned my requested Christmas gifts in the family gift exchange.
The new Beck album, Hyperspace (on CD)... yet I've still only listened to it via Amazon Unlimited. Boo to removing CD players from cars. I should probably get a portable and hook it up to the input jack but I don't like the wires or having to fiddle with an portable player while driving, I also don't trust "anti-skip protection"- they still skip. My usual thing is to upload a couple dozen album mix to a jump drive but that can be a process... one I always put off. I rate this lower in my rankings of Beck albums, but every Beck album is still pretty good IMO.
And because I didn't own a physical copy and wanted to hear what it sounded like in the format, Our Endless Numbered Days by Iron & Wine on vinyl. My mother had my name and got a big kick out of the title. But I still haven't gotten around to listening to it. I haven't had much "sit back and relax" time while moving apartments. The player isn't even currently hooked up. This weekend maybe.

I did get the Nada Surf cd, Never Not Together. Really good songs--I just wish there were more than nine. That seems like a short list for a long player.

I ordered a compilation of the best power pop of 2019, put together by Bruce Brodeen, operator of the sadly defunct Not Lame Records. The cds should arrive in a couple of weeks.

A Gabor Szabo cd with both Gypsy 66 and Spellbinder LPs. The latter has the original version of Gypsy Queen, later covered by Santana on Abraxas
The Association Live to fill in my collection. It is excellent, great performance, production and song selection. The banter is corny, but was a big part of their show.

Other than Throwing Muses Sun Racket, a slightly funny story.
As you know, I'm an eBay reseller for extra side money. Bought an old 90's Bookshelf Stereo. 5 CD changer. Two cassette decks. Good comps, once I clean it up, get a deck cleaner- should be a good profit.
Once I plugged it in I find I also purchased: 3 Enya CD's (I think the first three- I forget now) The Best of Fleetwood Mac ABBA Gold -on Cassette- The Best of Muddy Waters.
