Watch the clip on YouTube. The instructions are basic to the point of almost breath in breath out. But enough of talking about Biden. We are wasting time that could be better used slagging Trump off. Remind me again, who is the president? And is his brain still missing?

You don't understand what I am saying. donavan, I think I do understand. No, I have not seen the the video outtakes from whatever press conference it was. This is not meant to be a comparison between Presidents Biden and Trump. What message I am getting from you is that you consider United States President Joe Biden a feeble minded person who should not be in a position of such import and power. You let us know where you stood awhile back and appear to me to continue to reinforce that is your opinion. I don't necessarily want to continually beg to differ, so I chose to explain a little about various types of cue aides for podium speakers. Now here I am, again. Do some of us need external cues to breathe? Yes. I am one of them, but I do not have so many responsibilities as a President or the composure required to do so on camera in front of the world. I hold my breath when I am stressed, a lot or a little, it is situational. I eventually breathe. I may know what I want and need to say standing in front of a group. Thirty people comprised about the largest group I have addressed that way, but I have been in meetings of more than that where I took a turn. Even one on one, I can look someone in the eyes-someone I respect and want to impress or be succinct with-and I forget every danged thing I have ever known. I don't know if President Biden is like me or not. Good leaders are not always charismatic speakers, or ones who perform best at the podium. President Biden gives me a vibe of sincerity, he has experience in political office as a Vice President and knows the who, why and wherefores of the office of President, the House and Senate. He gets the process. You can't be everything to everybody.

But you need to be able minded to be president. It's almost cruel to see him struggle. Age is against him. It seems to me because Trump is bad anyone else other than Trump is good. Most discussions on here are about Trump and not Biden. Are you saying I should shut up because I've made myself clear? Can we only repeat ourselves if we are slagging off Trump? I need to check the forum rules.

I need to check the forum rules. No, I would never tell you or anyone else to shut up when they proffered their beliefs. I don't want to stifle your voice or shut off the free flow of opinions and ideas. I was thinking about this a couple hours ago. What I have a problem with is myself. I just did that thing again where I alienate someone by thinking I need to educate them. That whole thing I got into last Summer with a very dear friend boiled down to me trying to teach them what I know/see and think that if I can just explain things the right way, he/she will see and accept my point. I'm very sorry about that. All that TelePrompTer stuff was about me sharing what I think I know that will change the balance of things. I do think of that instance last Summer as a major growth point in myself, but here I am doing it, again. (When I said this very same phrase earlier either today or last night, I had the right phrase but the wrong idea in mind.) No, you should never hold back from sharing your beliefs. That is one of your basic human rights-to represent yourself accurately without fear of shame or retribution. I think Trump did not tread a straight and narrow path, ethically. I do not think other politicians are good because they are not Trump. Is Biden at a disadvantage because of his age? I don't know.

Firstly, you like me can say as we please, so no worries there. This think twice post once stuff is rubbish. Shoot from the hip and we can thrash it out. Makes for a better forum. I like our exchanges, they are a pleasure. Biden for me is not fit for purpose and I feel sorry for him. He's finally got himself into a position that he's mentally unable to fulfil. But with the, 'well he's better than Trump' attitude sometimes displayed on here you people are killing him with kindness and he's dying a thousand deaths. I see a man who is being robbed of his dignity. The same happened to my dad. But to see it happen on a world stage is a tragedy. And it's opening the door for another Trump. The very thing you are defending will lead to the very thing you least desire. Well that's what I think, feel free to disagree with me. It's a free world or so 'they' tell us. 🙃

Legit observations, I think. Yes, even Trump himself can re-enter the political arena. As I see it, there may not be any "Good" politicians-just some less terrible than others.
This type of situation is what caused me to bail on politics years ago. I have taken to not checking in on CSPAN or following news stories everyday...I am happier, but not a happy idiot. I worry for the future of my planet, I worry that the crazy-bad-dangerous drivers are going to kill some of my loved ones. I feel pretty disconnected from politics right now and would like to see an improvement in Law & Order. For Goodness' sake, it is like Stop signs don't exist any more. They're standing there, as before, but to some drivers they must be invisible.

You are so right. Maybe it was ever so. Let's face it, the people who would make good politicians wouldn't touch it with a shitty stick. I observe from afar now with no allegiance to any of them. And it feels much better that way, liberating even. I have my political views but nobody out their represents them. So it goes.

Others with opinions similar to your own are out there, donavan. I know some of these persons. It has been a struggle for me to accept that people who I treasure and love are so different from me, but the relationships are more important than the issues. Sigh. It has not been easy, but I remind myself of the great value these people have had in my life when I have listened to them and made efforts to understand why they feel the way they do. Then, I have to give it up to my Higher Power (Goodness, Light, Hope and Strength, not a Deity, but qualities I want to enhance in my own life and behavior.) Otherwise, the cognitive dissonance I would feel would make me nuts.

BoJo stepping down? I wonder if Mayor Mare is looking to advance in politics... BoJo makes me think of HoJo which makes me think of pancakes. I don't like pancakes, so no, not thinking about leaving my current gig as B-PoMayo. I did think it was interesting that PM Jo resigned but said he's staying in residence at #10. That's allowed? I mean it does take some time to get your isht together, but why isn't he packing up his old kit-bag? Intro, you have some experience...what about your continuing political goals?

Johnson is allowed to stay on until his replacement is decided. He is probably maxing out the free accommodation and salary for as long as he can. That's how he operates. Shameless.

Who gives a fuck. He'll land on his feet. A news show over here was concerned about how his current wife will cope. That's why I hate TV and the bullshit and disregard for the real people. That's why I hate politics. That's why I hate people. That's why I hate myself.

The results of the third ballot in the Tory leadership race have been announced by Sir Graham Brady.
The candidate with the fewest votes - Tom Tugendhat - will now leave the race to replace Boris Johnson.
The results are as follows:
Kemi Badenoch - 58 (up by nine from second round) Penny Mordaunt - 82 (down by one from second round) Rishi Sunak - 115 (up by 14 from second round) Liz Truss - 71 (up by seven from second round) Tom Tugendhat - 31 (down by one from second round)
It's like Love Island. Do you even have that piece of shit reality TV show over there?
