When there isn't anything on TV, I check out the music channels on my cable...I found this, that and a few other things.

Oh, now I remember...you people are too smart for me. Buh dump bum... ...ching! I can be dumb if it will keep you here, Mare. Um, Trump is the greatest president since Dubya. Is that fucking stupid enough? No. The Big World is what is fucking stupid. It is nice in here with the smart people. I like it. That was a sad attempt to complement those who delight me with their acumen. Urp. Dubya. Shudder.

Good one, Ned! I love that album! I see your Ween and raise you an Aaron Freeman!

I don't recognise ANY of these artists. Are they new or newish? As in, post-1995?

I don't recognise ANY of these artists. Are they new or newish? As in, post-1995? Let's see...Ween is a broken up band. Aaron Freeman was in Ween, but really needed to be in Rehab. He cleaned up his act and made a solo album. That was a couple years ago. Barrie-this band released their first album in 2019. They were on the video "Adult Alternative" music channel on my TV. I checked 'em out and downloaded the album on iTunes. Bombay Bicycle Club-they have been around for awhile, but I don't know anything about them. They were on the Adult Alternative music channel, too. So was Hot Chip, but my son has heard of them and even is a fan. I put the music from the TV onto a Juki playlist for my grandson and he likes them all, too. He isn't two yet, but has discerning taste in music. He likes Air and Dutch Uncles. He likes Orbital and the Katherine piece from Pharrell Williams and Hans Zimmers score for Hidden Figures. He likes "Senses Working Overtime," too. I'm teaching him to count on his fingers, which may be a problem later.

Ween is touring together again rather regularly. Not constantly, but regularly.
This is the one I remember getting the biggest Partridge comparisons.
But I do love Ween, such expert genre benders.

Excellent jazz-funk version of a little-heard Rubber Soul track
