Discuss. Can't decide to stay up late to watch. Is John Cena playing?

I'll be watching far more intently than usual, hoping for an alleviation of many painful years of being a Bengals fan. I'm just glad I never became a Browns fan.

Why don't you support the team that is local to you? Or did you live there at some point, or does none of that matter? Should I eat popcorn?

Long, long ago, when I was young...the quarterback of The Rams was a young guy who went to my own high school. He was pretty good. He also played for a University in Los Angeles. What impressed me about him was that he was a Rhodes Scholar. His name is Pat Hayden. I hate football. (American, that is.) I wish all these people hadn't spent all that money and brought all their germs to town. It is quite stunning what people have paid for tickets, housing and transportation to get here. You lucky sominabitses, the weather is unseasonably warm.

I am so far avoiding Football, today. You made me laugh with your remark about the Browns. A quarterback from my high school class wound up being a third string quarterback for the Cleevee Browns.

Germs are good. They make us stronger. That is true. Perhaps they will create stronger generations in the future. I don't know that I will make it past some of the current germs.

Dog fucking dammit--I'm now having flashbacks to the last Bengals loss in the Super Bowl. Fuck. That took for freaking ever. I watched half time, which I liked. It was very L.A. Dang it, there were some very sad football players out there. They weren't crying like baseball players, though. But I am used to that. There sure were a lot of yellow flag rags being tossed around at the very end of it all. Only in football can six minutes take over half an hour. I remember that from when I was a kid and football was doing the same thing, except there were 12 minutes left in the game and I kept thinking...my show will be on in 15 minutes, why is 12 minutes of this football game taking more than that. I learned that football can preempt just about anything, especially kid shows. Most sports can do that.
