What do you call that noise?
EXTC – the new band of XTC drummer, Terry Chambers – performing a full set of classic XTC material, much of which has never been aired live.
Following sold-out concerts in 2018 with fellow original XTC member, Colin Moulding in TC&I, Terry has joined forces with TC&I colleagues Steve Tilling (vocals, guitar) and Gary Bamford (keyboards, guitar, vocals), plus Matt Backer (vocals, guitar) and Ken Wynne (bass, vocals). The band comes with the blessing and support of XTC members Andy Partridge, Colin Moulding and Dave Gregory.
XTC was one of the most influential British acts to emerge from the late 70s punk and new wave scene, with hits including Making Plans for Nigel, Senses Working Overtime, Dear God and Sgt. Rock (Is Going to Help Me). Artists worldwide in many genres cite XTC as a major influence, and the band was recently the subject of acclaimed documentary, 'XTC: This Is Pop'.

I bet Colin guests on a few of these shows if things work out. That's if other stuff doesn't get in the way. I've no idea why he stepped back from music after a successful come back.

He'd mentioned family-related issues.
