The only deep and abiding love of the billionaire is his stash of $. Warren is sure triggering them. They were concerned about Bernie, but terrified of her.

It seems to be any little crack in the supposedly impenetrable wall around him, or acknowledgement of his saying or doing anything wrong, will break the magic spell that binds them. If he did this immoral thing, well then maybe he did all the other shit too. Kind of like having to admit your god is not all powerful, which is the basis of your worship. Yes, shooting people on 5th Ave is totally legal, if HE does it. I hope your current Gov is reelected, not that he is perfect. Yes, there is a need to BELIEVE in that man. Totally nuts. But it was a pretty softball question. I thought I at least had a shot at getting someone to agree with me, but nope. Not even on Veterans Day. As for Gov. Edwards, I am pissed off that I have to vote for him after he signed that abortion bill earlier this year. He sells out every woman in this state and I have to vote for him! Don't get me started. Still, I held my nose and early voted for him last week. His opponent is insane and I think he'll lose. It is Louisiana, though, so we'll see. Yeah, signing the abortion ban is really hard to swallow. The nut cases here in Oregon are trying to recall our female Gov, unsuccessfully. Because she supports reproductive rights, health care for the poor, taxes to pay for things we need, and other designs of SATAN. The eastern part of our state is rural and right-wing, but most of the population lives nearer the coast and is generally liberal.

What we need to keep reminding ourselves of is that the filthy rich's wealth overflows and that drip down then benefits all classes on it's way down to the bottom. Even those on the floor. So the more they get rich the more we do. Yeah not like they do but enough for us all to benefit and become upwardly mobile. Until we become the wealth makers and help people like we used to be. So remember that and have a nice day.

Something trickles down, but it ain't wealth. The sad thing is people have been swallowing this theory for ever when what they are really swallowing is what you refer to.

Re today's hearing: The truth may not set us free, but at least it is being spoken.

I watched a good amount of the the testimony of the hearings. The truth is right there, brave civil servants stuck out their necks for their country, while the cult members blinders and earplugs remain in place, protecting them from scary reality Schiff did an excellent job of keeping the hearings moving despite the spitballs and stink bombs from the other side.
"Adam Schiff graduated from Harvard Law School. Devin Nunes is suing someone pretending to be his cow." -Nick Jack Pappas

Trump entered a press conference this morning backlit and pretending he is all knowing and all powerful, you know, the typical God painting look. I think he should try the Dante's Inferno entrance next time. IMHO: That would be more in keeping with who he really is.

It seems the public does not completely forget how they were hoodwinked into invading Iraq. For now at least. If he was sure it would reelect him to go to war, there would no hesitation.

Since he doesn't listen to any advisers, anyway, I think there is still an opportunity for him to do something awful.

Since he doesn't listen to any advisers, anyway, I think there is still an opportunity for him to do something awful. He does awful things (or his cronies do) every day. Most are off the radar, changing regulations, keeping needed disaster funds from Puerto Rico, hiring the worst, destructive people to dismantle democracy. But who can keep track anymore

This is one heck of a depressing thread. Can we kill it instead of the official one?
