"skylarking" next? i think i read something about steven wilson already working on it (maybe i just dreamt it). i asked andy on twitter about it: was it "skylarking" or "apple venus" (andy and colin only own the "AV1" and "AV2" tapes, so these two albums will sure get the 5.1 treatment sooner or later)? but he said he couldn't tell yet. anyone knows?

So after Black Sea, it's the Dukes, now. But wasn't there some sort of deluxe box set of remastered Dukes just 10 years ago? All these re-issues seem pointless to me. Does that extra bit of aural clarity change your appreciation of a song or album? It seems like a cynical cash grab to me.

I just want some un-fucked up live stuff. And yeah, it's a piss take.

The best thing about TDOS was the lo-Fi production of it. To enhance it detracts from everything that project was about... IMO

Hello. This is my first post here. So, what do people think is next? I understand AP had said when still on twitter that many of the past albums are either totally or at least partially missing their original multitracks (IIRC this includes English Settlement, Mummer, and Big Express). Does anyone who still is in contact with him know if he or whomever is involved in directing the masters searches is still searching or planning to do some more searching for these? Has AP ever mentioned his thoughts on considering crowd-funding for the searches since I know he said it's expensive to search? I recall on the twitter account he mentioned listening to Wasp Star and/or Apple Venus, I forget which. I at the time thought that was a hint for an upcoming 5.1 release, but we got Dukes next. Does anyone know if WS/AV are nonetheless planned as next or one of the next releases?
