This is a very interesting view of these wonders. I especially like the abstract quality that is created by the aerial view and monochrome colour palette. Has anyone here ever traveled to the pyramids? Please share your experience. link

Yes. I was on a business trip and asked if I could be taken to the Pyramids. Got there just as they closed! However the guy driving my car, who didn’t speak a word of English stooped at the side of the road and let a swarthy looking chap ( of which there were many) jump in the car. he then guided us off the main road and up and down a myriad of back streets stopping outside a dusty looking building who knows where. I was ushered out of the car. I didn't really want to get out but couldn't tell the guy "No thanks, take me back to the office" due to the language. of course this guy was trying to fulfil his bosses instructions. I was, as they say, bricking it.
I was led inside the building where it became clear I had to give them money. Ironic I thought, I am going to have to pay to be murdered in the back streets of Cairo. Having handed over the cash I was led out of the back of the building where in front of me all I could see was desert. Well desert and a straggly looking horse. I figured I had to get on the horse, which I did, and was I suspected being led to my bloody death in the desert. Anyway, here I am, in a business suit, on a horse being led by a local off into the desert. We crossed a ridge though and there in front of me was the sphinx and the pyramids. We had a jolly ride around them outside the perimeter and an hour later was led back to the starting point with a souvenir photo o of me on the horse with pyramids in the back ground. It was with relief I spotted the car still outside waiting.

Good story, Mr. Tein. Not only did you get to see one of the wonders of the world, you had an appropriate adventure leading up to it.
