Sounds like baiting to me. But maybe that's the idea. Putin will prove Joe wrong by walking away. War eh, what is it good for? Well the private defence industry, the media and to form domestic political distraction for starters.

I'm glad the neighbor's dog is tied up. She always runs right at my yard every time she has to pee, only to be held in check by her leash. She looks kind of sad that she doesn't get to pollute my yard.

She looks kind of sad that she doesn't get to pollute my yard. Oh, majestic dog Tether! I beseech you not to ever break! Protector of the grass and bedded plants, I am much humbled by your might! When you don't have a pet, the leash that binds the neighbors' roaming poddy factory to their patch is a significant boon. It is kind of like the smoker/nonsmoker thing. If you want to pollute your air/ground space, that's alright with me, but you have to contain the toxins to your patch. No wonder my Dad kept our Miniature Poodle on a lightish chain when he worked at his workbench out in the garage. Dad grew up on a farm and would not confine any creature except the fish to indoor life. However, Dad did love the animals and did not want the chain to break and the dog to get run over by a car. The poop was taken care of by my brother and there was plenty of water and lots St. Augustine runners to plug in "the areas of lawn" that needed upkeep.

I mentioned nearly getting hit by other drivers a lot recently, and I had just another near hit yesterday from some woman who tried turning left in front of me when I clearly had the right of way. The near accidents are bad enough--what is worse is being yelled at by the other driver as I'm the idiot for obeying basic traffic safety laws.

I'm glad to say that the ill-conceived Issue 1 here in Ohio failed miserably, meaning that the amendment protecting abortion rights being voted on in November will likely pass. Any day the anti-woman party takes a kick in the collective nutsack is a good one.

They're lamenting that the recreational marijuana initiative failed to make the ballot. They are big fans of the gateway drug.

Any day the anti-woman party takes a kick in the collective nutsack is a good one. Robintrovertigo, Labor Day weekend, I will be in Martinsville, about a third of the way between Cincinnati and Columbus off 28, for the Nowhere Else Festival hosted by Over the Rhine, a Cincinnati band you might have heard of. PM me if you're nearby and we can go kick a collective nutsack.

I'll have to see what is going on that weekend. Martinsville is less than 30 miles from my house (S.R. 28 goes right through the middle of Greenfield).
