My eldest son turned 20, yesterday. Whoa -- That was fast.
I made him his favourite meal for dinner: two huge lasagnas (extra cheese, sauce and meat) and bought a lemon-raspberry cake for dessert. His siblings and girlfriend didn't complain too much, either. ;-)

Work for tomorrow was cancelled, so I am drinking some beer and working on another XTC pun list.

I was having a very difficult time picking things up during Tax Season and didn't say anything, figuring I was becoming old and decrepit. My boss finally mentioned the same thing, and I mused that regular use of hand sanitizer may be desensitizing our fingertips. Another Covid-19 related side effect? Perhaps, but probably just me making stuff up, again.

About time the U.S. team stomped those dastardly Euros on the links. Wait, are there any dastardly Euros on this forum?

No. Get in the hole! That was a big pond in the background. Did anyone bat their ball into it?

I thoroughly enjoyed watching a lot of The Ryder Cup this year, for the first time. If it was stressful for me to watch, it must have been really intense for the competitors!!! Since I have my favorites from watching PGA events, I was pretty excited and happy to see how well Scheffy did on Sunday. Imagine...besting Jon Rahm! However, in the four ball contests, I also was rooting for the Espana contingent. I am curious as to why the costumes evolved from wearing old school golf togs to wearing (and acting) loud, sophomoric duds. Was Schauffele puffing on an e-cig at the milling about outside after the photo sessions? Or was it still that cigar? That Thursday night opening ceremony was a little stuffy...is it always like that? Everybody seemed kind of tense. I didn't know if it was because all the wives/partners were there or because the next morning started three days of Very Important Golf. The Whispering Straights links was/were? NUTS! The Giant Ditch Cliff Hazards that freckled the course were heinous! I was totally with Lowry when his ball wedged in a plant sticking out in the air down the cliff a foot or two-I saw him shake his head in the negative and immediately agreed. I thought he would concede, but calmer heads remembered the rules. To the one who told me about The Ryder Cup years ago, with great excitement and anticipation, I say-now I get it.
