Sweatpants or pajama pants are most excellent house attire.
I have a vintage 60s smoking jacket, blue with paisley bur little occassion to wear it.

I can't seem to find exactly what I want to have for today's Song, but these two are pretty good.

I like that Klark Kent one. I like getting to hear new music I never heard about on this thread. And multiple songs of the day are fine I see. So...

I'm not sure what is okay or not ok around here, Bluey. Sometimes, I just can't decide or have no specific message in the song to share. Other times, the lyrics are expressing exactly what I want to say. Robert Palmer-YAY! "Sneaking Sally Through The Alley" was my introduction to him and I loved his melodious voice and funkiness quotient.

In fact...my song of the day... I guess the crooners of my late teen age were Robert Palmer, Bryan Ferry and Stevie Winwood.

If I get tired of heavy beats and hard to catch lyrics, I fall back on Neko Case.

I guess the rhyming and amusingness of it maybe?

In fact...my song of the day... I guess the crooners of my late teen age were Robert Palmers, Bryan Ferry and Stevie Winwood. ย ย It's sad Palmer passed away pretty young, Roy Orbison wasn't exactly super old either. I had the good fortune to see Steve Winwood, I think twice Once I think as an opener maybe for Tom Petty, the second when he regrouped with Eric Clapton to do what was essentially Blind Faith reunion (ok not all of them but the two most important) plus they did some solo stuff and Traffic songs. I got a groovy 60s style event poster signed by the poster artist who made some famous 60s music posters, John Van Hamersveld

I loved Stevie! I'm not a Clapton fanatic, I think he's o.k. There are other guitarists I am crazy about ahead of him in the list.

Me too actually in not being a Clapton fanatic. I saw him solo before I saw the Winwood/Clapton show and it was fun, it the duo show was much more song wise my thing.
