Caught the unthanks on Saturday. Northumbrian folk with a touch of classic, clog dancing and jazz. Unusual set up. rare to see an act do a clog dance and do covers of Robert Wyatt and King Crimson.

You do find some interesting acts. Good for you for being open to the musical creative process.

Saw the Jesus and Mary Chain last night, doing 'Psycho Candy'- have to say the album doesn't do justice to how brilliant these songs are live, loved it!
coming up- Slaves, Palma Violets, Fat White Family, Public Service Broadcasting, Wire & British Sea Power!

Hello Mr Tein! Mine. Robyn seems to tour quite a bit. Last saw him 10 years ago. This time it's a favored venue in Eugene, WOW Hall (originally the union hall for the Wood Workers of the World). In the last few years I have seen Todd Rundgren, Built To Spill, Helmet, The Meat Puppets and some lesser known bands there. In case you were wondering, I will not be spending $100,000.00 to see the last Grateful Dead show.

Hi Miles...RH is An artist that has passed me by Miles, whats a good jumping on album? I am partial to his work with the Egyptians, my favorite of theirs is "Element Of Light." Also love "Fegmania." Many fans also single out "I Often Dream Of Trains," an early solo album. His most recent was produced by Joe Boyd, which should be a cool meeting of the minds, I haven't heard that one yet. I still hear snippets of his abandoned collaboration with Andy, in my fervid imagination.

Not a lot going on for me gig wise at the moment. Got Dutch Uncles at KOKO some time but that's it for the moment. Tempted by the Blur show as Metronomy and The Horrors are supporting but I'm not sure I'm still up to standing in a field for six hours surrounded by drunken idiots. It's not the fun it used to be.

Dutch Uncles live is a real treat. Love them. Watch out for the singers dance moves! the new album is their best I think
