That's fantastic! This special edition sounds like something I need in my life. My recollections are from the original broadcast and late night repeats. I forgot about the radio series, did it precede the tv show then? I have vague memories of Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy too, but I don't think I warmed to it in the same way. I also love Garth Marenghi's Darkplace from 2004. Have you seen this? Other than the three complete series, the boxed set also includes interviews, outtakes, and a some nifty extras. It was the only form available for purchase (from Amazon) and I would recommend it if you are so inclined. Yep, the radio version pre-dates the television series. It's fun to listen to and visualize the action on your head. Some of the radio episodes were remade in the tv series. I have been aware of Darkplace for a quite a while but never bothered to watch it. After your mentioning it I found it on YouTube and watched the first episode. What a hoot! Thanks for the prompt. Another Barratt/Fielding outing was Nathan Barley. It's a single series which I found oddly charming. Introvirtigo, you're a fan of the Boosh as well? Hot Dog!

Introvertigo, you're a fan of the Boosh as well? Hot Dog! Nice to see so much crossover between XTC fans and Mighty Boosh fans. As Stephen King once wrote, "Class tells."

Every now and then I remember this commercial from the 90s that I thought was (and still is) pretty damned fantastic. Lo, and behold, I found it on YouTube!

Sorry, donavan, between the poor video quality and the thick accent of the reader, it's hard to find the funny. Which actually makes it funny - so there you go!

It's sheer class, Pob and Spike. The dream ticket.

Pob speak reminds me of early AP singing. Which I like the best.
