a word assocaited with XTc and often a word to make us fans cringe BUT fairs fair... what is XTC's quirkiest song or moment in a song.
I'l start with Conmplicated Game - a song that sound slike no other.

I'l start with Conmplicated Game - a song that sound slike no other. I agree there. I always thought there was something mysterious to it. Shake You Donkey Up.... not my favourite but I don't dislike it. It always seemed beyond whimsical to me but in a strange way. Q U I R K Y for sure !!

Shake You Donkey Up.... I've had that playing on repeat in my head all week.
BBC In Concert live Watchtower is pretty sublime in a good way.

... I guess I would disqualify the dubs... but, I mean... New Broom, a dub of Nigel about Kirby's Objectivist superhero... and it might not even be the qiurkiest of the bunch.
If they're included, it would have to be a Dukes Track. I'd go with the starter Electric Prunes pastiche, 25 o'clock.
as for studio, non-side projects... The Man Who Sailed Around his Soul... or maybe his proto-rap, Optimism's Flames

Was just thinking The Man Who Sailed. Human Alchemy is also an odd one.

I'll go with Garden of Earthly Delights, although that one might be classified as sublemon.

In keeping with the title of the thread, I'd say Chalkhills and Children is a textbook definition of s u b l i m e.

shouldn't it be as in the other backporch and every time someone writes the word "sublime" then some kind of funny censorship appears...?
