Extreme speed golf cart darts Let's keep the darts separated, Bluey! If I had a bucket list, learning to drive and becoming proficient driver of golf carts would be right at the top. Well, I have to start somewhere...I'm not going out there and building my own fort!

Must be, cause, darts are involved. Lol! No darts and it would still be a sport because it is racing.

First, I have to learn to drive them, bluedemon25 ! Wouldn't fork-lifts be better with which to build forts? Aside from that, I've already seen this and it has discouraged me from souping up small vehicles. I don't want to get my hands greasy, either.

That sounds fun too. I drove a golf cart once I think I was 14. It had surprisingly bad turning response/radius was the impression I had. Worse than a go-kart for a then age-appropriate reference.

Nuts + Bolts was an informative and sometimes hilarious show that I saw on Vice Channel a couple years ago. Well worth the watch, I though.

Today, I'm thinking of our long time XTC fan and lovely man, John (Saturnboy) Greaves... dearly missed <3

Me, too. sticksman1. I will listen to music he recommended to me, feeling grateful for having interacted with him on the IDEA forum and FB. <3

I don't want to get my hands greasy, either. I saw on TV a show once where they souped up a fire truck. It was crazy and awesome. I think they put her engines or something in it to make it go like 400 mph.

And here comes another tropical depression/rain. Yay.... Wonder if I'll have any driveway left.

All 4 kids back in school, this week. Covid rates are very low, but they've relaxed the health guidelines somewhat, so who knows if a fourth wave will befall us? Masks and vaccination passports are still de rigueur everywhere, but Delta is a tricky customer.
September is here, so my workload is about to be amped up to 11 for the next 9 or 10 months.
Eldest son has started piano lessons, wants to pick up the guitar again.
I've painted 6 canvases (11 x 14), so far: 3 Bill Alexander nature scenes, 3 abstracts inspired by a Google Image search. The results are quite nice; I seem to be endowed with modest artistic ability and am encouraged to continue.
Today marks the beginning of Year 7 of not receiving any child support from my ex. **** 'em.
I broke down and bought an air conditioner several weeks ago. Forty-degree weather with a very high humidex spread over 4 months was too much. Our heat waves used to last only one or two weeks in July; now they start in May and we get at least 6 weeks' worth of Turkish baths.
