This is freaking beautiful! I am visually pleased and mentally agog at how facile you are with BB code.

Someone on FB unintentionally reminded me of my "eeeeee" thread on the old idea forum.
Same trick, just one color, and all you could do was repeat it... and of course that forum had the stupid problem of scrolling a page off to the right for as long as you wrote an uninterrupted line of letters- never inserting a line break.

Hahaha, I probably shouldn't mention this, but I was reviewing the forum themes/ wallpaper and noticed something I hadn't before. In the "Settings" section there is something that could be quite annoying. It's a box called "Default BBCode"...
Which you can fill in with whatever you want... and EVERY time you post something, whatever you have in that box will be automatically auto populated in your post.
Basically a way to add a signature to your posts.
Or lets say you'd like all your posts to be in a special color or font, you could put the starting BBcode for these things in the first line, add multiple blank lines, and then put the ending code at the end... So when you post something, that is automatically inserted and you type in the the blank space and PRESTO! all your posts are big, bolded, COMIC SANS and puke green!
...or, just a way to be very irritating and put something annoying in

Nonsuch Ned, I couldn't find exactly where you were talking about, but I did manage to get the marquee thingie to work in my tag line place. I must know where to find the color codes, but...?

Well, there. It isn't Periwinkle Blue, but it is blue, dang it.
I couldn't change the size, but I did manage to "embolden" it.

encycolorpedia.com/named. Color codes Color name Periwinkle, hex code #c9d6ff But it doesn't really look like what I think of as periwinkle.
Another reference says CCCCFF I think that's closer.
Periwinkle

On the PC I just used the color wheel to find a color I like and use the codes given.
But this section is in the same place where you choose which theme to use. I posted the instructions to find that in a recent "swapping the wallpaper" post.

You can also just type "color picker" into google and get a handy tool to find colors with their hex numbers.

Come to think of it, I've used the online color pickers to create the themes. They allow you to take a picture online, or one you upload, and click on a color- giving you the hex number for it... So if you want "Nonsuch Red" - you click on it and replicate it, allowing me to precisely match the color to the buttons or dividers. Nice tool.
