I saw these guys in Vegas in 1969. They set the stage on fire after In a Godda Da Vita, so they wouldn't have to play an encore. Luckily the concert was in an ice skating rink ( they put boards on top of the ice) so the fire didn't spread and kill everyone. This may be my favorite song they did.

Wow that's pretty crazy but pretty damn neat. And really awesome to have gotten to see them.

I finally sat down tonight to listen to the West Coast pop art experimental band companion CD. It's been on a print for a number of years and was a little hard to get reasonably priced. Not sure it's going to get many spins but it was neat to hear some and a lot of these are so rare that you can't even find them listed on YouTube although some you can. Not all of it is really stuff I need to hear again but it was interesting to see these pre-band or side project tracks. A few of them are actually pretty good. I'm curious what anyone else may think who's into this I know we have at least one person who will be able to chime in. The notes in the disc were helpful although I don't have such familiarity with their album material to say oh yeah this song sounds like an early version or stylistically akin to this track they later did but it was helpful and neat. Kind of curious to check out some things that were mentioned but not on disc also from people who went to do their own stuff or side projects like the album Smoke.
I'll try to post some of the tracks as it would certainly be appropriate to hear one or two may be repeats I haven't memorized our whole tens of pages worth but I think I have a rough idea what I posted before or not.

Here's an earlier one pre-group. I quite like it but I didn't come across on the comp other material quite in the same style. There's a few like that like where the before they brought in markley it was more harmonizing and I don't have the word to articulated but a different style. According to the blurbs are red he didn't have a whole lot of style beyond bongos but he did something not described explicitly that nudge them towards the crazier types of songs. For the ones that aren't upsetting content matter I'm glad for I could do with I think the majority if not all of the rest that are on his personal predilections. But it's an impressive body I'm trying to delve into it more now I heard where's my daddy sucked but that the a markley group album ended up being a bit better. Maybe I should check that one out. I'll try to check out tomorrow where they soon the CD booklet tabs to tell us who was doing what when so that's informative I'm not posting everything I can't post everything because it's not all on YouTube most business but if you were the tracks that I happen to think of the more enjoyable ones are Again this is strictly from me companion album long at a print has stuff is not on the proper albums with very few exceptions
