I really like the way the vocals are the singing style I'm not sure what to call it in PBC's It's A Happening Thing. It's such a good song. Miles, do you know of they have any more songs they do like that (or other artists)? I listened to some more of them but found none. It is derived from Folk and Pop groups like The Mamas and the Papas, with strong harmony arrangements. They had strong songwriters and I love Sandy's voice. I'll post another one.

Or 2. Like Ultimate Spinach, they were better than their group's name.

I think its the combination of the harmony but ALSO for me at least the echoey/reverb almost wistful sounding solo vocals that occur in between that Barbara sings that I like most. the Most Up Until Now has the closest sound of the ones I checked out today but still not quite. Mother Earth Revolution which you posted while back a bit too.

Yeah, the production by Gary Usher was very good too. Their music embodies that incredible optimism of the 60s. Sadly Barbara (Sandi) died young and I don't know of any other recordings by her.

It's like jazz man, you know what I mean, jazz. With bongos.
Markley was a weird dude, but he told fascinating stories with his lyrics.
