I'd like to see if anyone else wants to hop on this one. Like Song of the Day thread but specifically, songs you can imagine would be excellent background music for a circa 70's/80's AD&D campaign. Extra points if they include bitchin guitar parts.
I'll start with Uriah Heep's - The Wizard

Rivers Cuomo has a Dungeon Master's Guide. Fair Enough. I heard there's an actor (possibly Dwayne Johnson) that has a tattoo of their DnD character. I'll add: Thousand Days of Yesterdays (Time Since Come and Gone) by Captain Beyond: Although, nearly the entire album is appropriate.

I Don't know this album as well as others of his/theirs, but like most, it's a thematic concept album... not a literal concept album. Each song is a reflection on a theme but never follows a plot... only part of it is about D&D, as the theme is slightly different than the name of the album "In League with Dragons," implies. ...like my favorite song is actually about Doc Gooden.

Aldo Nova, huh? I never played Dungeons and Dragons, buy my mom bought a guide manual home for the kids to look at. I flipped through, but didn't have time available to commit to the project. Spacey Guitar jams? Lemme think.

Doc Gooden was superb at his best.

This whole dealio, especially the part that starts at 29:21! I know it isn't the genre of Rock, but I think it fits Wizards, Dungeon Masters, Brave Heroes, etc. and their interactions.
