Well, definitely not The Third Man... In that case, can you name this film from a still (and I hope this works because my posts keep getting deleted)?

Well, definitely not The Third Man... I have no idea if this will show up--I've tried to make a joke about this post, but my fucking posts keep getting deleted and/or showing up five times. What did I do to piss off Ned?

Let's see if you can remember this forgotten man. I saw this in the last couple months on TCM...very much the social commentary. It was cute and charming. I couldn't remember the film title, and had to search for it. Since that's cheating, I won't be the one to name it. I did like the film very much, though!

Fer Pete's sake it is My Man Godfrey.
It's a good film, watch it.

Fer Pete's sake it is My Man Godfrey. It's a good film, watch it. I first saw it in the late eighties on TV. Loved it. Watched it for the second time over the holidays and laughed out loud, which I rarely do when I'm alone. Have always loved William Powell (his silent movies, too), and Carole Lombard was a revelation -- I wasn't too familiar with her work. Ditzy in a way that prefigured some of Kate Hepburn's screwball roles a few years later.

Fun film, snapshot of contemporary society, gorgeous costumes juxtaposed with the seedier variety. Yes! Yes! Yes!

I'm guessing this (used imdb as I knew both actors but not which film they were in together) Correct, Intro! Your turn!

Exploding train car? Looks like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
