They are both beautiful! The literal meaning of Azimuth you will probably have to explain to me in person someday, perhaps drawing with a stick in the dirt. I am really happy you have interpreted it with your creation, though! I want to live in Marisol! <3

The paintings also have a lunar feel to them. A a swirl of other worldliness. Quite magical. 🌕

Thank you friends My wife came up with the title "Azimuth." It is complicated but refers to finding the angle of a celestial object, from a spherical vantage. Yeah Like I do that in my spare time There was also a popular 70s prog jazz Brazilian group "Azymuth." I have allowed myself time to make these paintings, and have no need to sell them (but they are for sale.) I spent decades in grind it out mode. Mass producing small works to sell cheap. This feels like a great liberation, for now anyway.
