So, Dayna Kurtz. Her voice is an instrument, I tell ya. She didn't write this song. It's an old Johnny Adams cover, written by I don't know who. www.youtube.com/watch?v=UO3XP9oQ8P4She lives part-time down here. I see her sometimes with Robert Mache, (always very tasteful on the guitar.) Other times with her kick-ass band of New Orleans ringers - Lulu and the Broadsides. She gigs here and there around the country. Sometimes in Europe. Check her out, if you can.

Don't you even like the Do Right Woman cover don? Geez! Talk about your tough crowds...
I have to admit, I hate that A Grade song. But nobody's perfect, right?

Hey it's cool. I think your whole music vibe thing is cool. Might not be exactly my gig but that's the beauty and diversity of music.

So, it's Jazz Fest time down here and all sorts of people are running around town. Guess who was seen a couple of days ago at a Lulu gig. Sir Tom Stoppard and his date, Sabrina Guinness. Or, if you prefer, Lady Stoppard. Whatever.
Now, guess who's kicking herself for not hitting one or both of them up for a loan when she had the chance.
