Removed from the Kids Room due to Whoops I did it again. "Heavens to Murgatroyd! Am I going to be reimbursed for staffing the BP Postal Service to pass out all those Nedcoins, Mr. Mayor? (Mare said as she attempted to get someone to admit to being BP Mayor Elect.)" As usual, I forgot to participate in the thread that I posted this remark upon. Sorry Citizen Introvertigroo . And I don't think it was a Senior Moment, but instead it was a case of CoVID-19 long term side effect Brain Fog. I wish the doctors would just say it...it isn't long term, it is permanent. I'm increasingly convinced I have frequent brain fog extra so on migraine or headache days, since a bit before the migraines started a few years ago.

Yeah, isn't that nice of the medical/pharmaceutical community to forget that we don't have time to read the multi page hand outs (and extensive time to research online what the heck it all means) that you are given with medications that help with brain chemistry issues? Sigh. The really antagonizing part of side effects, including the Brain Fog, is that meds can aggravate other conditions for which you also are taking meds. (I just wondered what the medical name for brain fog is-oops. I wondered so much I started researching online. Now, I wonder if I have Amnestic MCI. Dammit.)

You know I actually do usually read those extensive folded paper docs that come with meds and look for med journal literature online as I've had bad experiences with lying, YES LYING a word I don't use lightly and other times neglect fully informative doctors.

Maybe early 2000s I was trying to get some OOP CDs there. I did get a copy of the Jellyfish box set for a good price, but most of the time, things were way overbid or some geezer snatched it at the very last second. So I said forget it and never went back. I got depleted uranium once on Ebay also some radium stuff. Used to collect radioactive items. It's a professional related interest of mine. Building a reactor in the basement?

I have some allergy symptoms that produce brain fog and even vertigo. Some day I may succumb to taking meds for that. I can usually manage it if I stay indoors.

Nah, just as full of a periodic table of elements collection as I can with professional research interests in elements which exist without any stable isotopes especially actinoids. I'm a chemist or was before needing a stop due to disability. Sincerely trying to get better to reenter the work force preferably academia but wouldn't turn down an appropriate industry position.

I realize this does not belong in a Song of the Day post, which is already pretty far off track with squirrel stuff.
Last week, my son told me a story about crows...the moral of which is be kind to them, because crows remember. They consider you part of their flock if you are kind to them. They will watch out for your sorry butt. I don't know if the story is MSUing, or the typical pulling my leg that my kids do, since I believe what they say and trust them to be straight with me. If it is a fable, it is a nice one and I'm ok with it either way. Anyway, I had been yelling at crows by my home the day before, and now, I think twice and say sorry if I forget my new stance and yell at a crow.

I've read that crows are indeed really intelligent for birds. Supposedly they can recognize faces so if treated well vs harassed they act accordingly.

My daughter in law bought this book for her library and I have read it to my grandson... Now, when I see and identify crows, I say "Black beak, black eyes, black feathers, black feet...CROW!"
It is a pretty good book and it teaches lots of different things, not just bird identification of crows.

I was having a spirited conversation with a crow on my morning walk one day (yes, pretty much everything eventful in my life occurs then.) In an attempt to more fully communicate with the bird, I was cawwing and flapping my arms like wings. It was going great until a jogger came by unexpectedly and made me feel self-conscious.

The crows are willing to work with us, but just try to get through the terms of service contract.
