But I don't, and even if I did it wouldn't change your mind and nor should it. I'd rather drink beer or red wine. Don't like whisky. Don't like spirits much apart from occasional good Polish vodka (my dad was Polish) or G&T.

I quite enjoy champagne but don't drink it often. The price of a very good one is a turn off and I haven't bought any in a very long time. I actually enjoy a good Mimosa. I guess to champagne purists, that's committing some kind of libation heresy.

No. But you have to pick the correct one. And dont knock if yiou have never tried Dom Perignon - not cheap, but gorgeous/ Like verything there is crap and good stuff.
