I look at it as now I know how caged wildlife must have felt when zoos were all bars and walls and humans ogling. I know it is for my own protection and am making the most of not being bugged about my Stay-At-Homeness. If I could hang out with all you guys/gals, you betcherass I'd be down the Pub every night.

I wish the pubs were open, I'd drink less. Home drinking is much cheaper and the measures much more generous. Any way that's all gone for now because it's Straight Edge November. (sXe)

Climate change: It has always happened in all forms. Ice ages to heatwaves, before we were even here.. Yes we don't help. But a message of responsibility just to be responsible and an economic message to do the same would be helpful. But fat chance of that. Our PM said Thatcher started the green revolution by closing the mines so being more green. I was very active during the miner's strike. And it disappoints me that no-one has said we never stopped using coal. We just stopped investing in our mining industry which led to disasters in mining communities. In fact we imported coal at a cheaper rate until we flooded all our mines, which meant they could not be used again. Then the likes of Poland could charge whatever they wanted to. We never stopped using coal because of Thatcher. We just paid more for it at a massive social cost.
Are you pissed off with all the bullshit that never gets challenged?

Yes, I'd say there's a plethora of bullshit things that are massively aggravating and often unchallenged. For my part, I always felt a responsible plan of closing an industry for the common good should include something along the lines of helpful restructuring and or retraining provided free so those affected by job loss aren't left with no work to support themselves by. I'd be fine with seeing my tax dollars support that. Question I'd like to ask: To all members who are willingly to participate, what drink/cocktail is your favorite or was if you can not presently partake? I like the violet flower and maraschino cherry flavored gin drink the aviation. I also am quite fond of a well made Ramos gin fizz (cream citrus orange flower water setzer egg whites gin) It's a floral alcoholic milk shake or perhaps more an egg cream gambinos.com/cocktail-history/history-ramos-gin-fizz/

Gin and tonic, and I wouldn't be surprised if Don answers the same.
