Here's a question for our UK brethren. Why the hate for Jeremy Corbyn, especially from within the Labor party? There is no hate from the Labour party.
The hate is from the labour MP's who want to shift to the right and the media who don't want a lefty running the labour party.
The press virtually ignore Corbyn - the man himself - and report only spin and opinion to make him look like a fool.
Since the MP rebellion over 25,000 people have joined the labour party

Exactly, he hasn't got a chance. Stick loyal to him and the Labour party die. You've got to be smarter and play them at their own game. Like Blair did before he went mad.

Thanks, Mr. Tein. Replace Corbyn's name with Bernie Sanders and the story is the same in the US.

There has to be a gradual evolution from right to left. That's why these guys have no chance. And are a bit naive. It's not a level playing field, so if you genuinely want to help the people, wise up, and have a strategy. Otherwise it's just pointless vanity.

A man of principles, but actually a bit of a wanker for the reasons don pointed out. I was hopeful when he took over the Labour party, but realise that was just wishful thinking. The unions love him because they think they can bully him.

I'm trying to keep up with the Brexit fallout. Real or manufactured by the press, it seems it's becoming a political clusterf*&k. My sympathies to all Brits.

Yes, well..... It may be that a sensible parliament chooses not to push the GO button on clause 50 (the one in the EU that triggers exit negotiations). The referendum is not legally binding (some might say not morally so either, given the amount of lies told on both sides but especially the Leave camp). It is also likely that a vote will have to be taken to revoke the legislation that took us in originally. The referendum was very badly thought out from the start as no-one thought that we Brits would be stupid enough to vote "out". Some sort of crushing majority for changing the status quo should have been a stipulation (if you accept that a referendum was called for in the first place, not just as a Cameron placatory sop to the Euro-sceptic Conservatives). The Labour party is a mess, and has been for a while now. Corbyn, though probably a good and principled man, is no leader. Now if we could just get Boris's common touch and popularity blended with Corbyn's principles.......... But Corbyn has to go, I'm afraid: that's the way politics is and always has been.
Hey ho: if we do leave, we'll likely be OK after a while, but not as OK as if we'd stayed.

If anything, it's got to show us that the people who would make the best politicians wouldn't touch it with a shitty stick. So enter the corrupt and the naive preying on the inept. Same as it ever was.

Its interesting if you view the "rulers" of this country and the lovely Westminster bubble they live. Basically, 5% of the electorate said up yours at the last election and voted UKIP. Left wing voters said up yours to the right of centre labour party MP's and legacy of Blair and voted in Corbyn. 52% of voters in the Eu referendum said up yours to out of touch politicians, political correctness, ignoring the needs and wants of the electorate and still, the Westminster bubble, ignore the general public.
No plan for brexit, everybody resigning, the only one not resigning is being bullied into submission, The Lib Dems are actually being very positive but are being ignored - and everybody clamouring to lead the various parties that nobody has any confidence in - a bunch of Political careerists who just want 5 years to build up their nest egg. Scotland wants to lead. Wales are better than us at football now. So are friggin iceland
Its a shambles and a mess and there is no leader on the horizon who can unite the country and lead it forward.

So why do people who are disillusioned with domestic politics get motivated to vote at the EU referendum? And not concern themselves with real culprits, their own government. I'm not making excuses for politicians whoever they represent, but it's a complete head fuck listening to most of the political commentary and a big slice of the general public.

A lot of people voted to screw the ruling class. If you live in the north east, on minimum wage, on a zero hours contract and cant afford a car, a house, to get married to have children - its your big chance to put a spoke in the wheel of govt. Even though it wont improve your life one bit. I mean Gove will make your life better than Cameron. really.Nobody gives a fuck about them . except maybe Corbyn and everybody is bullying him to oblivion. I mean he doesn't support the cosy, Westminster bubble, establishment.
