After watching this video I'm in need of a basketball and a road trip to the Hoover Dam.

I am a void when it comes to Physics. Physical laws still affect my body, but if I hold very still and watch TV, I get so dumb that the only law of Physics I care about is Gravity. Thank you, Earth, for being a very large mass and keeping me stuck to this planet.

For funsies, and S&G (no not Simon & Garfunkel, despite how groovy they are):
Gravity between two masses such as Earth and butt on couch
F = G(Mm/r^2)
Quoting from an academic site:
"where F represents the force in Newtons, M and m represent the two masses in kilograms, and r represents the separation in meters. G represents the gravitational constant, which has a value of 6.674⋅10−11N(m/kg)2. Because of the magnitude of G, gravitational force is very small unless large masses are involved."
Earth counts as big, butts are generally not, no matter how bootylicious they are not large masses as far as gravity is concerned

We are probably going to have to go all the way back to right after the third grade experiment with celery in glasses in the fridge filled with (water) and (water + food coloring.) Too bad they couldn't work Science into English and American Literature. I would probably remember it better.

I will have to ask my kids about The Science of Discworld, Bluey!

I love the sense of humor and stories in the Discworld series. Very sad Terry Pratchett passed as early as he did, but he left a great body of literature.

Terry seemed a nice guy. But all that fantasy thing leaves me cold. He's a bit like Spike Milligan for me. Didn't like his TV comedy or novels. But loved the real life person when he talked about real life stuff. Spike's war memoirs are amazing.

Physics, like masturbation, is fun but can lead to a loss of eyesight.
