Not too long until Thanksgiving now--I hope the Pilgrims fill my stocking with turkey and mashed potatoes, but none of that disgusting cranberry shit.

Don't be silly, Don--the Christmas season started about four months ago, time change between England and Ohio notwithstanding.

I got lefsa and meatballs in my Thanksgiving stocking; cranberry relish too. Good stuff!

I wonder if we'll all be housebound this holiday season. I might have to learn to make my own turkey. Oh, well, at least it will still be Don Day on November 26.

I figure with the mail-in ballots, we may not even know who won the election by Thanksgiving, but I sincerely hope the orange clown is unceremoniously kicked out on his ass.

I suspect we will know the results by Thanksgiving and we will be grateful.
My favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner is the homemade dressing. Sourdough bread, onions, celery, mushrooms, fresh sage, parsley, hazelnuts and some stock so it's moist. Even on normal years, my wife and I stay home, so same as it ever was.

I guess we have Harvest Festival. Or rather we don't because it's not celebrated these days as far as I know. You say I like Christmas but you have two of them in close succession.

The trouble, Don, is that with the corporate whoredom that we live in, Thanksgiving has pretty much become pre-Christmas. I liked it better when the two holidays were distinct.
