Is darts a sport? I consider anything where you have to dodge a fatal object to be a sport. Depending upon where you live, crossing the street may be a sport, as well. And if a Dodge Dart is coming at you, then Dog help you.

We had a discussion about this at work and came to the conclusion that a sport can be defined as an activity that requires you to change or remove your footwear.

It is not compulsory to change your footwear for darts. For football, rugby, motorsports, etc, you have to.

They might not always change their shoes but they put coloured nylon/polyester tops on. A bit like jockeys wearing silks. That's got to be a tick in the sports box.
