Do you make your bed every morning?

Because my wife always sleeps in later than I do, no. I do wash the dishes and make myself useful in other ways.
Did you ever get into a nocturnal schedule, staying up all night and sleeping days?

Night shifts in factories. 7pm-7am, 4pm-2am... That sort of thing. I never could get more than 4 or 5 hours of sleep -- I'm a morning person.
Favourite Dickens novel?

Great Expectations .... Poor Miss Havisham ********** What is one great, classic novel you've had every intention of reading but haven't got around to yet?

The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky. I've read Crime and Punishment and the Possessed, but haven't read what is considered his best work. BTW my favorite book is Moby Dick, not read until I was in my thirties.
What is the most overrated or disappointing "Classic " novel you have read or attempted?

Goethe's Faust. I ended up reading a summary after the First Act. Not technically a novel, but a recognised classic of world literature.
Are there any musical genres which you just don't get?

Whatever genre Sugar Ray counts as, because Mark McGrath is fucking awful and should die a slow-burning fiery death.
On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 is low, 10 is high), how would you rate my level of bitterness?

I assume that your blank question response is in reference to the Mel Blanc reference in another thread, so I will answer Porky Pig.
Who is your favorite Greek god or goddess?

Athena, and you better not mess with her.
Our taste buds recognize sweet, salty, bitter, sour and umami flavors. Do you have a compulsive response to any of these flavors? Or one that will make you spit out the offender, gracefully of course?

Kidneys, tongue, brains, feet, stomach, heart and liver. It tastes offal.
So what do you do on a typical Saturday night?

Drink while watching whatever sport is in season, other than soccer. Sorry, Don--I've never been a footy fan.
What is your typical Sunday morning?

Go for a walk in the hills, if it's not too cold. Check my e-mail. Read selections of the NYT and some political blogs. Eat breakfast, then drink enough coffee to haul my ass back to the drawing board. In other words, it's exactly the same as every other day, except no snail mail.
Do you mind working weekends?
