It has to be Cornwall. ideally my retreat in maenporth. This is the view from the house we rent ( but not so high as this is taken!) do you prefer to be on your own or in company

Depends on the mood I'm in. Today, I'm happy to work on my own today (from home), but there are times when the presence of others is most truly welcomed. In a band context, it goes without saying (I'd be a lousy soloist ) If given the choice, would you work from home, or do you find that to be too much of a distraction, given the discipline?

I could neve work from home. To many distractions and home is not for work!
Best place you ever worked?

I can answer that in two ways:
The best Company I worked for was Technicolor. The team I was in and the other departments that we had a strong link to.
The best place, for me it has to be the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking - the place was unreal and the people there were great.
If there was only ONE item you could take with you to a desert island, what would it be, and why?

A motor launch. So I could escape. if not a guitar and jef truzzis chord book.
If Gilbert O Sullivan was playing in your town would go see him. If not who would you rather see.

No. I'd rather see Steely Dan, and I tried when their tickets went on sale here - but they were sold out within the first minute, even the real expensive seats.
Same thing with McCartney. So much for seeing either of THOSE two idols in my lifetime.

Martian (and I can hear my family saying, "That explains a lot").
Do you wear glasses, and if so, how long have you worn them?

I do and I have been wearing them since about 8.00 am this morning! Actually at 21 I had perfect vision. then I started staring at computers all day and my eyes went bat shit. A fact I discovered when somebody said "what does that sign say" and I said "what sign"
do glasses make people lookmore attractive?

Either Lemon Chicken Schnitzel or Grilled Lemon Sage Chicken. It all depends on whether hubby wants to BBQ in the snow...
At what age did you discover XTC?

I was fourteen when I bought Nonsuch, but I didn't listen to the cd for about five years until I went to college. I was digging through my collection for something to listen to, found Nonsuch gathering dust, and gave it another spin. I've been hooked ever since.
Do you ever contribute to a forum for a band other than XTC?
