Given that Mexico is going to pay for our wonderful wall, I wonder if those bricks will made from adobe.

What's really cool about LEGO is that you can put a bunch of bricks on the table, and everybody will make something different. Everyone has different ideas, and some of them may seem crazy.

I love the smell of indictments in the morning. Speculation is that the 3rd guy, Papadopoulos, who pled guilty, was wearing a wire for months. He was arrested in July and pled in early Oct. and will receive leniency for his cooperation.

Rump's blind and so far unexplained loyalty to Flynn would seem to be over. Flynn pled guilty to a lesser charge and has stated he is working with Mueller. He has flipped on team Rump. I think Jared is feeling a bit queazy as he was referred to in the guilty plea. He's not the only one who needs to up their anti-anxiety meds.
The republican response is to steal all the tax money for their donors and then, to pay for it, cut the social safety net: Social Security, Medicare, education and any other program that helps people. It seems like a desperate grab before it all crashes down.

Trump will pardon himself. You couldn't make it up. He can't pardon himself for state crimes as opposed to federal. Many of the shady, money laundering, real estate transactions can be prosecuted by the attorney's general of New York and New Jersey, for example. Not to say he won't kill everyone first, out of spite.

I read and listen to WAY too much of this stuff. As everyone seems to agree, all bets are off because rump and co disregard all established standards. Thinking about pardoning yourself came up with Nixon. Not sure if it was a deal or not but Ford pardoned him later. So Trump may think even if he can't do it himself, Pence or Ryan will (they are next in line.) The state prosecution thing is IMPORTANT for this reason. Many of Flynn's crimes have not been charged by Mueller, but could be charged at the state level, ESPECIALLY if rump fires Mueller to shut down the investigation. So it can't all be shut down and everyone cleared just because rump uses the pardon power like a blanket over his administration. Until the democrats retake the house of reps back, rump will not be impeached, but he is not safe.
This is a bit from Josh Marshall, who runs Talking Points Memo blog. It's about the general character, and lack of qualifications of the rump campaign across the board.
"The point here is not to cut these folks slack because they were somehow naive or ignorant of the issues they were dealing with. It is that again and again in these key moments the decision-makers were people who were inexperienced, had histories of either poor judgment or extremism and were in many cases corrupt. With those qualities, you can expect a lot of bad things to come."
My feeling is that this also characterizes the Brexit negotiations with idiots like Boris.
