Wouldn't it be great if he popped up here. That also applies to the forum runaways. Please come home. I had a look around the FB XTC groups and there's not much going on there too. I know XTC are no more but it's a bit sad the community has dissolved somewhat. Even if we didn't always get along and the main man gave me a beasting now and again. It was fun. Happy days.

You may just be looking in the wrong places. Discussion is widely spread out between the two main fan groups and then the 2020 Convention group and the last con group and the Colin/TC&I group (where Colin occasionally posts). Then there's a collectors group and a Beatles group (for XTC fans) and probably some more even I don't know about.
the BP@FB is always dead, sort of by design and sort of fault of lack of purpose. I usually only post in-jokes there now.

Probably Ned. I don't look that often or give it much time when I do. Maybe that's the thing, too many groups. And FB isn't the best format to browse around in. I did catch some of the Colin stuff but he didn't really seem to have his heart in it. Perhaps I'll have another look around sometime. Thanks for the info.

I remember when you had nearly all got off to FB and Andy was asking is there any point in the APE forum. I said if it's costing you time and money to run the forum then close it and go full time on Twitter. Only a few of us still posted on APE. Andy made some dig about me posting too much (less than 2 post a day I think on average). And I was hard work. I resisted telling him Twitter is a shit-storm and if you think I'm hard work you ain't seen nothing yet. Although he was the architect of his own downfall on Twitter it's a pity he doesn't still have a base of his own for XTC fans. A lot of bad vibes about Jack and that donavan guy but compared to now, was it really bad?

Mr. Moulding is on FB. Mr. Partridge is no doubt ghost-writing the APE twitter feed, albeit with more circumspection. (Let's hope he's learned his lesson.)
That leave only Terry Chambers, Dave and Ian Gregory, Barry Andrews, Pete Phipps, Pat Mastelotto, Prairie Prince, Dave Mattacks, Chuck Sabo... John Leckie, Todd Rundgren (!) and several other producers...
I think we ought to invite Ian Reid.

Ian Reid said go and fuck off. That just leaves the roadies.

Terry is on FB via Lynn Farrar, Dave G is actively on FB, as is Barry Andrews, Pete Phipps, Pat Mastelotto, Dave Mattacks and Chuck Sabo. You also forgot Ralph Salmins (who played on Spiral). As for roadies, there's always Steve Warren, again on FB

We're inviting anyone, now? Does each person get a separate Inviting [insert name] Thread?

No. Only Lynn Farrar gets one of those. Feel free to invite her.
