You have to be logged in for them to appear - so I just discovered.
Okay - maybe that isn't right, either.

I'm looking forward to finding out what each of you think your favourite XTC album is! Best bassist? Favourite cassette release? Please just keep it on the topic of XTC though, OK? OK? Favorite XTC album: "XTC Live in Missoula" Best bassist: The guy right after Colin Moulding. Wait, what is his name again? Favourite cassette release: "Black Sea"
Wait, is this a poll? Where are the bar graphs?

It's a poll, but I think its one of those you dance around. Like Sarah Palin at a stripper bar. Yeah, try to get THAT image out of your head.

Recent Threads * Recent Posts In red below "Threads & Posts" in lower left of main menu. You're welcome. I think this only applies to threads and posts of each member, not the entire board. Or maybe not. The folders that head each section of the board have 'new' on/in them when new content is available, and then each thread in that section has the same. Is that what you mean by viewing new posts since last visit, bimble? That is indeed the sort of thing, but on previous forums (fora?) there's been a big, obvious button to hit to ceck new posts rather than mucking about going through each section. Ho hum!

I really like the "Shoutbox" feature. And the fact you can 'like' posts. And being able to see everyone's avatar and pictures and links without being signed in. Great job, Spaz - er, Ned.

My own view is the view recent posts function can reduce activity. If you go on and there are two new posts you read them and move on. Its by exploring the whole board you latch onto old threads and start new ones etc. I would suggest my posting on APE fell considerably when I started using the previous post thread... and it also stopped me starting threads. new threads are the life blood of a forum. IMHO. anyway just a thought that all...
