Despite that, you are to blame, I am to blame, we are all to blame for letting these appalling governments run our countries in the manner they do.
Have you lost your mojo? Mine cleared off ages ago.

My mojo has ennui. It comes around at odd hours and we tell each other it's gonna be alright, although neither of us are convinced.
Do you have a genus loci?

A healthy diet is essential for good health and nutrition. Do you have healthy eating/drinking habits? I recently returned to a vegetarian diet, after about 20 years of omnivore-ism. I've also reduced refined sugars and ultra processed foods to a bare minimum. A near immediate result has been a significant reduction in chronic pain; the relief is extraordinary. I still have some arthritis pain but it's nothing compared to before. I enjoy cooking and am having a blast making all sorts of tasty meals. At age 65 the weight loss benefits of a vegetarian diet will take a lot longer but that's okay; I'm not going anywhere. :-) As for drinking, I enjoy a bottle of New Glarus Spotted Cow beer once in a while with a meal.

Do you have a genus loci? In my corner of the world this is as close as it comes: Welcome to La Crosse, Wisconsin. Home of the World's Largest 6 Pack. -------------------------- Do you own any solar powered devices?

What are some of the favorite vegetables or vegetable dishes you've had or looking to have on the new diet? I am fond of simmered Japanese taro. Find it makes the broth very sweet. I do believe it is the tarot as I've done the same simmering with daikon radish and while it's also a yummy broth there's just something different and sweeter about the broth after using the taro. I don't have a special Japanese store near me but usually can find those two. I also have grown to love simmered kabocha a sort of Japanese "pumpkin". There are also different types of turnips I like some of the white Japanese turnips and if possible with the greens on top because they themselves can be cooked and eaten and I find taste pretty pleasant too.

Can't eat like I used to some of the stuff from this book but when I could it had some really delicious vegetable recipes with an unusual take. I like the one that's greens of your choice with nuts and dried apricots and some Sherry vinegar optional parmesan shred

Bluedemon, your dietary explorations sound yummy. I'm not overly adventurous in the variety of veggies I eat. I enjoy creating my own spice and herb blends and sauces to make my meals interesting and tasty. I make low sodium veggie bouillon cubes, Tex Mex spice blend, Curry blend, Chili Oil and adobo sauce, to name a few, and have fun using these in different dishes. Beans, greens and rice is a favorite meal that is highly adaptable.

Since we're on the topic, I have become addicted to marinated vegetables. It sort of starts out like cole slaw and ends up like ceviche. Chop up cabbage, onions, turnip, carrots, and celery. Sometimes I add broccoli or cauliflower. Put these in a large strainer over a bowl and add a couple tablespoons of kosher salt. This will remove excess water. I wait about an hour. Then rinse off the excess salt. Then I chop up cucumbers and peppers and add them to the others. Put in a large container and add juice of 2 or 3 lemons, a small amount of red wine vinegar and about a 1/4 cup olive oil. Put it in the fridge and stir it every few hours. By the next day it starts getting good. Lasts about 5 days. It is somewhere between pickled and marinated in flavor. This is the only way I will eat turnips. You can add ground pepper, I also put in some hot sauce. Yes I am a sour puss.

My cat says he loves you. Oh the humanity.
I love them. Dogs I can't stand.
Best concert or live performance you can still remember?

It's going to be a tie for best probably Genesis in 2007. I got to see them in Boston and hartford. After that maybe the Millennium show Billy Joel did and the one and only time I got to see Devo. A few of the scissor sisters shows and the time I got to meet Weird Al not the show which was not as good of a set list but the subsequent one on the next day or so had a favorite set list that was sort of bucket list material for me. Seeing Roger Waters do the wall since I wasn't around to see the original version and similar when I got to see him do dark Side of the Moon. But the wall one was better. Probably more that I would consider All tied or nearly for best. Maybe one of the Elton John shows of the billion I saw.
What's your favorite concert you can remember seeing or if you don't do concerts performance or similar?

XTC - Liverpool Uni.
Anyone else underwhelmed by that new Beatles track?

I heard the demo of the track before it came out but after it was leaked cleaned up. I didn't listen to it yesterday to compare but I listened to the new one after watching that mini documentary that they put out. I think I agree with you Don. While I'm glad to have heard it and for it to be out there I can't find it as enjoyable as free as a bird and real love. I very much appreciate the sentiment and I thought it was emotionally moving to be able to hear but it's a bit of a sad tune, which I'm not usually as receptive to.
I think this is a pretty good question so I'd like to ask the same for another member to answer whoever sees. Did you listen to the new Beatles song and if so what did you think?

Still haven't heard it. Not excited to seek it out. With my expectations this low, I might even like it.
