Is it a spaceship? Is it the Brian May Orchestra? Is it Gregsy? Er, yes! Liberty Daze

Thanks for listening, peggs; very kind. Funny story: before we sent the track to Dave, I actually sketched out a guitar solo for it. It wasn't great or anything but I thought it had a couple of nice phrases that we could expand upon at least. Then, Dave sent back his ridiculous guitar parts and suffice to say, I kept my half-arsed effort to myself. Talk about being humbled; the man is a master. Thanks to you too, donovan. You know, it does have a touch of Colin about it doesn't it? If anyone is interested, the other Dave (Mattacks) plays drums on this one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfcD4yJ6kbIHe's not bad either...

Such sweet music. Love Somebody is just dripping with XTC -and I say that in the nicest possible way. Are you familiar with The Power Pop Show? Robinson and Woltil's songs sound like good candidates for the program.

Thanks for the listen, Bimble. peggs, that's a compliment I'll take any day (and in the nicest possible way. ) It's funny, in his review, Nick Deriso at "Something Else" said of that song, "Sounds like XTC doing Bob Dylan". Good enough! I also just got wind of a review on Alan Haber's Pure Pop site that described our song, Elastic Man (also featuring Gregsy on guitars) as being like a "sixties hug with echoes of Paul McCartney and Donovan that sounds like it’s enclosed in a Dukes of Stratosphear wrapper." That made my friggin' day in the nicest possible way! Anyway, if anyone is interested in a couple of free downloads, you can grab them here: here. Thanks again guys; your comments are appreciated.

Love it! Gregsy is great and everyone else involved on this track is not too shabby either!

Agreed that is a swell tune. I like the deceptively cheerful tone being undermined by melodic turns. Splendid all around.
