Are you a beer person or a wine person?
You must choose! You can't be both! And you must say why you chose one over the other! Those are my rules for the thread! Also, there is one other rule, and that is that there shall be no more exclamation marks in this post. Liar!
One more thing. If you declare yourself to be a beer person, you must also declare your undying allegiance to ales or lagers. One or the other. No pussy-footing or equivocating.
I'm going with wine for two major reasons: (1) it gets you drunker quicker, and (2) it makes you feel less bloated. Bloat. That's a hell of a reason if you ask me.
(Note: If I had chosen beer, which I didn't, then I would have opted for lager. I used to prefer ales. Then I realized they made me feel bloated.)

Also, please don't post here if you hate both beer and wine. It will just bring us down. Thank you.

Also, I like red wines. My favorite is syrah (or shiraz). I also like cabernet, cab franc, malbec, merlot (Washington State merlot, that is), zinfandel, etc. I don't know much about pinot, but I like that, too.
What, are you saying I have a problem?

I'm tired of my avatar already. I need a drink. I think I have OCD, or something worse. I have a short attention spa

Wine, wine, lots of wine. Never beer. Never ever. But neither are my first choice...

Beer preferably Peroni very chilled. For some reason I drink rosé wine but it's never made me doubt my sexuality. There are other things that make me doubt my sexuality, like my wife for example, but not drinking rosé. I think that's pretty fucking butch actually.

Beer, but it doesn't like my prostate. So wine but it goes too quickly if you drink it like beer. Hic.

I guess I'm not the typical girl as my answer is beer. I do drink wine occasionally; enjoy shiraz but only if I'm eating something. A beer I have been enjoying lately is Chimay. Like Longy, neither would be my first choice.

Beer for me, please. I've never been a wine drinker and haven't had spirits in decades. I used to seek out and enjoy all sorts of different brews but no longer. A simple lager (no ales for this girl) with a meal suits me just fine; a current favorite is Point Special Lager from Stevens Point, WI. I'm such a light imbiber that a six pack of beer will last about 3 months.

Beer. Then wine. Then perhaps a palate-cleansing IPA, before looking to see if there's any wine left in the back of the pantry. "You can't be both." What kind of pantywaist nonsense is that? Why, next it'll be "Deer OR elk!" "Black bears OR Grizzlies!" "Jeff Truzzi OR Keltik!" Actually, I'm tending more toward beer these days. Wine makes me feel a lot more unwell the following morning now. And I'm drinking much more pale ale than lager too. But here's a question: how cold should you drink your ale?

(First sentence of previous post to be read in persona of "Fletcher" from the movie "Whiplash".)
